What is International Night?
International Night is an incredible evening of pride and celebration for the Payton school community. We begin with an international feast of delectable dishes from around the world. During this time there will be booths throughout the atrium for you to learn new games, crafts and information about the many cultures of the Payton community as well as about the international travel programs available to Payton students. Then we have a showcase of student performances (100 students last year!)—such as Muntu dance, Israeli folk music, Korean K-pop, Mexican folkloric dance, Indian Bollywood dance, Irish step dance, martial arts, Taiwanese fan dance, Polish music, French pop music, Hawaiian hula, and more! We also decorate the atrium with informational country displays from Payton travels, World Language classes, and art projects for a world tour.
Entrance to the first floor I-Night celebration is free (5-6:30pm). Food and beverage tickets can be purchased at the door for $0.50 each. Tickets to the performance can be purchased through out International Week during all lunch periods or from any International Club representative. $5 for students and $10 for adults. It is highly recommend you reserve your tickets in advance as the auditorium will sell out.
What are the funds used for?
All funds raised from the international night celebration and ticket sales go directly to help support WPCP International Club events and the WPCP Global Connections international travel program.
